Information For Recruiters

Jobs In Space is a global space industry forum for publishing vacancy notices and CVs. Vacancy notices are accepted from any organisation involved in any aspect of the space, satellite and astronomy industries. We accept vacancy notices from employers, advertising agencies and recruitment agents acting on behalf of employers.

Recruiters are also able to search our online database of CVs submitted by experienced space industry professionals.

Registration

To post vacancy notices, and to review CVs, you must be registered.

 

Fees

For more information on our fees click here. We believe in value for money. Our fees are much lower than other space industry job website.

Ease of Use

Once registered, to get your vacancy notices posted, all you need to do is email them to us. We will do the rest.You do not need to log onto our system and learn how to submit and edit text. We do all of that for you. No fuss. No bother. Just the absolute minimum of work on your part.

Once we have received your vacancy notice, we will post it online within one working day.

We can accept vacancy notices in word or pdf format, or in the body of an email.

If you need to make any changes to vacancy notices you have posted, just let us know by email and we will take care of it for you.

If you wish, we can even regularly visit your company website and extract vacancy notices for you - with absolutely no effort on your part. This service will be available in July 2009. There will be an additional fee for this service.

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to post vacancy notices. Our service is simple to use, efficient and fast.

Vacancy Notices

Your vacancy notices will be posted on the public part of our website where job seekers can view them. Job seekers do not need to register to view vacancy notices.

Once registered you can post an unlimited number of vacancy notices and can view an unlimited number of resumes until your registration expires.

When your vacancy notice is published it will remain on the Jobs In Space website until the day after the closing date for applications or for 60 days, whichever is earlier. Even if your registration has ended, your vacancy notices will remain active on the website.

Responding to Vacancy Notices

Job seekers are encouraged to apply directly to you in response to your vacancy notices. Your vacancy notices should include contact details as well as instructions explaiuning how job seekers should apply. If you wish, you can include a link to an online application form on your own website.

Reviewing Resumes

For the last few months, job seekers have been able to post their resumes on the Jobs In Space website. Once you are registered, you will be given access to a private area of the Jobs In Space website where you can review these CVs. These resumes are posted in good faith and it is your responsibility to verify the information provided and to confirm the suitability of any candidates you may wish to employ.
